To ensure optimum freshness our lambs are slaughtered to export hygiene standards at various export establishments throughout Australia. Our products are tested and monitored throughout all the steps in the process, we use Transport Company’s that are accredited in animal welfare issues for the transport of our livestock and transport company’s that can provide an excellent link in the cold chain to transport our carcases. The food processing facilities that dress our lambs are accessed against our stringent requirements and provide test results to support this requirement.

With our commitment of our own breeding programs on our farms designed to turn out premium quality lambs we also have contracted farmers who supply us with lambs grown to our specific requirements to ensure that can meet our customer’s requirements, lambs are also purchased by our team of company buyers. Australian Lamb Company’s network of buyers cover Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales and Tasmania this enables us to guarantee our customers a constant supply of superb quality lamb.

The carcases are then delivered and further processed at our modern export licensed premises in Melbourne; we move the product through our processing, packaging into store under active refrigeration at a constant flow to maintain product integrity throughout the cold chain process. We have a Quality team and work force that well trained and highly qualified in quality issues.

We constantly monitor product and processes, under our Quality System Certification ISO 9001:2000, BRC, HACCP, HALAL & AQIS approved MSQA Programs which allows us to have the confidence in the presentation and quality of the product we offer our customers. Our shipments are monitored through out transportation which enables the customer to down load information pertaining to their shipments.
